Bismillah ir-rahman ir-raheem
(In the name of God the most compassionate most merciful),

Alhumdulillah I have come across something and I want to share it with you.
A list of easy to follow and understand rulings from the Quran.

As a muslim, we know the general rules to follow of being kind and humble, following the messengers of Allah. But when it's put into a simple list, It is easier to slowly implement into our daily lives.

So, here I am sharing these in a series in hopes it may help the next person who reads this. Regardless if you are muslim or not.

The text will be written like this:
The teaching (Surah:Ayat)
"The quoted ayat"

To keep it simple and not too lengthy, I will do each post with 7.

Transliteration is The Clear Quran from Dr. Mustafa Khattab

Don't lie (22:30)
"That is so. And whoever honours the rituals of Allah, it is best for them in the sight of their Lord. The ˹meat of˺ cattle has been made lawful for you, except what has ˹already˺ been recited to you.1 So shun the impurity of idolatry, and shun words of falsehood."

••••••••••••

Don't spy (49:12)
"O believers! Avoid many suspicions, ˹for˺ indeed, some suspicions are sinful. And do not spy, nor backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of their dead brother? You would despise that!1 And fear Allah. Surely Allah is ˹the˺ Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful."

••••••••••••

Don't exult (28:76)
"But when Moses came to them with Our clear signs, they said ˹arrogantly˺, “This is nothing but conjured magic ˹tricks˺. We have never heard of this in ˹the history of˺ our forefathers.”

••••••••••••

Don't insult (49:11)
"O believers! Do not let some ˹men˺ ridicule others, they may be better than them, nor let ˹some˺ women ridicule other women, they may be better than them. Do not defame one another, nor call each other by offensive nicknames. How evil it is to act rebelliously after having faith! And whoever does not repent, it is they who are the ˹true˺ wrongdoers."

••••••••••••

Don't waste (17:26)
"Give to close relatives their due, as well as the poor and ˹needy˺ travellers. And do not spend wastefully."

••••••••••••

Feed the poor (22:36)
"We have made sacrificial camels ˹and cattle˺ among the symbols of Allah, in which there is ˹much˺ good for you. So pronounce the Name of Allah over them when they are lined up ˹for sacrifice˺. Once they have fallen ˹lifeless˺ on their sides, you may eat from their meat, and feed the needy—those who do not beg, and those who do. In this way We have subjected these ˹animals˺ to you so that you may be grateful."

••••••••••••

Don't backbite (104:1)
"Woe to every backbiter, slanderer,"

Leaving a little note here: There are many times multiple ayats will cover each rule. I have only shared one from each, and if you're interested I encourage you to read the Quran.
